¿Para qué sirve y cuál es su funcionamiento?
Su uso es para firmar documentos y facturar electrónicamente para lo cual la persona deberá tener un RUC (Activo).
La firma de PERSONA NATURAL para facturación (archivo .p12) solo aplica para ciudadanos ecuatorianos y extranjeros residentes que tengan cédula de identidad ecuatoriana.
La firma electrónica natural le servirá para firmar documentos electrónicos:
- PDF con los sistemas Acrobat Reader o Firma EC.
- En QUIPUX (según lo dispone y de propiedad del MINTEL).
- En SERCOP-SOCE
- Consejo de la Judicatura-eSATJE.
- Distrito Metropolitano de Quito-SITRA.
Vigencia, Costo y Tipo de contenedor
- El certificado se entrega en un tipo de contenedor de archivo digital (*.p12)
- Vigencia:
* 1 año = $ 28.00* 2 años = $ 34.16
* 3 años = $ 51.20
* 4 años = $68.25
* 5 años = $85.25 - El valor ya viene incluido IVA.

1. Cédula de identidad o Pasaporte
- Doc. digital a color
- Ambos lados
- 100% legible y visible
2. Fotografía o videos
- Rostro más C.I. – Pasaporte o videos con lectura de texto indicado en los pasos de registro (ejemplo fotografía)
- 100% legible y visible
3. Comprobante de pago
- Doc. digital a color o B/N
- 100% legible y visible
